Here comes the most awaited budget, in the new year proposed by the Finance Minister of India Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. The Budget speech focussed on Centre’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision as proposed by the Minister, to which the citizens continue to remain in a state of confusion, if it is to make the citizens Atma Nirbhar or the Adanis and the Ambanis !
Petrol hike at Rs. 2.5/litre, Diesel hike at Rs. 4/litre, estimating at a fiscal deficit of 6.8% of GDP and the gross borrowing from the market next year being expected to be ₹12 lakh core, what really caught my eyes is the allotment of Rs 300 crores to the Government of Goa to “celebrate” the Liberation day !!! Like , Really ???
The Minister continued,
“100 Sainik Schools will be set up. 750 Eklavya schools will be set up in tribal areas.
A Central University will come up in Ladakh.
More than 15,000 schools will be strengthened under NEP 2020.
An ‘umbrella’ structure will be created for central higher education institutions in various cities such as Hyderabad”
ask, how many schools that are already under the government have been developed in these years of your governance? Why develop a new one, when you can reframe the ones that are existing? How many educationists do you have in the Government panel to bring in the change in the education pattern of the country. A party that is led by a fake degree holder, having the maximum uneducated people as the elected representatives, pledges to set the education system right !
Our government is committed to the welfare of farmers, Smt. Sitharaman says !!! Yes , and we see the commitment of the Prime Minister to take time out to sit and talk to the Farmer leaders and provide some sought of relief !!! The confidence we call or the Audacity ?
“Inspite of COVID-19, we kept working towards strategic sale of BPCL, IDBI Bank, Air India, which will be completed in 2021-22,” she says. Are the citizens supposed to feel happy and proud and chant “Acche Din”? A serious question , what is the government upto ?
She also compares the economic recovery with that of India’s series win in Australia. “Team India’s spectacular success in Australia reminds us of the inherent strengths of the people of India.” She must be kidding !
Winning is when you put your hardwork and sweat or thoughtfulness into it. When the government is determined to not lift the country from the economic crisis, but only to do self promotional activities, it will not end up in a series win for sure, but a drastic dreadful economic crisis.
The Loopholes of the Budget doesn’t seem to end … These are the highlights from the budget so far !
